Why were tech bros saying everyone should learn coding between 2010 and 2022, and why are they now saying software developers, especially at the junior level, are no longer needed as they are going to be replaced by AI?

@nixCraft I remember at the start of my career there was this big movement around 5GL which was going to make most programmers redundant.
@nixCraft Because no one has cut the internet sea cables or the electric cables and shoot down the internet satellites. But, a cyber and hardware attack can well do it. Some a few countries are already developing such weapons...
