People are generally intelligent, right?
May I then point out the folly to waste all these countless billions on the development of flawed #AI. Wasting gazillion watts in hopes to create the first #AGI .. risking that it may destroy mankind.
Put that against, what, 7 billion #people operating at the singularity boundary of intelligence already.
Which we alienate from each other by AI. There is severe stupidity involved.
Use tech to unite people, lift up our thinking, reach new heights. ✊
Hypercapitalism will lead to dystopic futures, increasingly voided of humanity, which will be a scarce good only the well-to-do elites can afford. Regular people are merely cogs in the system.
AI is the perfect tool for hypercapitalism in how it dehumanises and helps erode the social fabric of society. All the human tasks it takes away help to further disempower us as indivualists in this vile system. So that we can be kept under control as our life's circumstances will continue to deteriorate.
