@benroyce she just agrees with him. Her party is currently trying to copy the Trump playbook in Germany. Destroying cheap renewables and burning subsidized fossil fuels instead is exactly what she wants, just like Trump.

@benroyce @pluralistic Oh yeah, the windmills. Those Chinese Dutch windmills from back in the day that survived are so ugly and harm us so much and it is so expensive and energy is never made just converted and we convert the money to energy and the energy to money. And windmills.

It's funny how we romanticize antique infrastructure, and villainize as ugly intrusions contemporary works like wind turbines and solar panel fields, yet simply naturalize things like gas stations, highways, oil rigs and all the rest of our fossil fuel infrastructure.
