The French-German Digital Sovereignty Summit yesterday was really inspiring. The topic of Open Source, European Sovereignty and Ethical AI is now discussed on the highes political level.
I’m also happy that I was able to discuss Open Source and Digital Sovereignty with Chancellor Merz, President Macron and Minister Wildberger during a roundtable yesterday evening.

Not everybody seems to share your observation – actually quite the opposite:

Lets face it, the current generation of leaders is lost: by a combination of education, profession and age they are not digital natives. They cannot autonomously connect the dots towards a democratic digital society (which most of them presumably support).
But we cannot afford to wait for slow generational change. The time to act is now (since it wasn't yesterday - or ten years ago )
