checking the BBC homepage has been a curse since COVID days. not a single day goes by without bad news. it feels like the whole decade is jinxed. i'm actually exhausted. does any one else feel like this?

@nixCraft every news channel wants to show you bad news. What do you mean. It's been like that forever.
The current democracies are not working well. We could be building a better one:

@nixCraft I think the effect you are describing has more to do with the state of the BBC than the state of the world. They make more money making people scared and depressed than happy.
