The evolution of Katie over the years: left most, the first iteration created in 2001 looked a bit like an upright crocodile with wings, fangs and mascara, wearing a long dress and pendant with a gear hanging from it. In 2012 (center), Tyson Tan reworked Katie to look more like the current iteration of Konqi, more kiddie friendly with a a pink dress and horns. In 2026 Tyson did it again and has created a more modern look for Katie (right), decking her out in a hoodie and shorts.
