I have a Third gen Lenovo X1 Tablet that struggles to run Win11, even after some serious de-bloating. https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/tablets/thinkpad-tablet-series/thinkpad-x1-tablet-3rd-gen-20kj-20kk/20kk/20kks0jf00/pf1mxqde

I'm not a coder by any means, but I do have some linux experience and would be willing to give feedback for testing purposes.

I plan to move to Linux after October.

I might need to look into this, because I run a v2 Intuos Pro Medium and while I have almost everything I need, I am missing mapping for the touch wheel, which I NEED to have.

Mapping the buttons isn't necessary for me, but the wheel is how I rapidly increase and decrease brush sizes on the fly.

@kde@floss.social @redstrate @kde@lemmy.kde.social Tagging @VermStudio and @Venerabela cuz y'all are experimenting with Linux (KDE is the overarching project maintaining Krita, but this will apply more universally to other art applications that can run under Linux)

And you may've already seen it but @Adorable_Sergal this might be worthwhile to you as well!

@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social I use a graphics tablet, but it's VEIKK brand and requires a proprietary binary driver to work on Linux

There was an open source project at one point, but development ceased after VEIKK released their own driver
