Someone mentioned that too, thanks. Not promoting but making an observation. I don't know the guy other than that he was/is one of largest influencers, arguably deeply complicit in helping erode the fabric of society with online culture he helped spread.
More generally I was struck by the rising awareness of the evil role of big tech, and the willingness of everyday people to take real action, that didn't exist before.
@smallcircles I really worry about more racists like him and his rabid followers flooding out good people from FOSS. It's already pretty rough out there...

@smallcircles Yah ive seen him moving to linux too recently....very interesting turn around from making silly youtube videos and becoming the most popular youtube for many years. I used to give him as a bad example in my books, like look how dumb down content makes a lot of views and money.
