Not an expert. Is this due to unwanted bloat running in the background?

@nixCraft I remember a video a bit ago where someone blocked all the AI and data slurping shit on a fresh Win11 install, and everything just ran faster, so the idea that it's Windows bloat making things difficult doesn't surprise me.

@nixCraft, are we really surprised? Windows is bloated and, nowadays, almost only a mean for MS to perform exfiltration for AI training purposes.

@nixCraft While it may be true for raw numbers, the fact I cannot use Radeon Chill and AFMF in Linux AT ALL on my RX 9070 XT is a big issue for me. And apparently the issue is in how Linux does things where it's just not possible to do these features. In fact there is no control panel at all. Like, it just doesn't exist. Want to force MLAA antialiasing in a game with bad antialiasing options in settings? Tough luck, you just can't. Ugh? I'm sure SteamDeck is great, but this is useless for me.

I've been running Bazzite since Day 1 on my OG Legion Go, so this doesnt surprise me. Does surprise me that using Asus drivers on the Go S provides a better experience on Windows than the Lenovo ones.
