The badge drama at #WHY2025 was a low point in many ways. The community needs to learn from this.

Disclaimer: I do not know all the details of the backstory but the short version is: at some point the team working on the badge was rage quitting for some reasons and another team took over which resulted in a lot of stress.

While the original team was busy putting up schadenfreude-memes the new team tried to deliver on the overpromise that was the original badge design.

@timpritlove Hi Tim, I cannot agree more with your statements, but I have one minor 🙂 thing to add the the Badge-Mess: The LORAWAN-Chip is made soley for US-Frequencies (903-903Mhz) and NOT for EU-frequencies (863-870Mhz), confirmed by the FCC-statement. Hence the "Antenna"-problems and more.. I would assume the "803"-printing on the Ra-01SH ship is a "Typo" and therefor the whole device is illegal in Europe to operate! (also missing a CE-label)..
I am deeply disappointed
