@nixCraft Actually nothing can be worse than the Nazi-infested Swamp that Twitter has become unter the mad billionaire.

Massive number of LLM accounts join and all of a sudden there is less misinformation and hate. 🥳

(No amount of hallucination can top the crap the MAGA crowd spreads)

And maybe, just maybe, the MAGA trolls will be frustrated by all the LLM bots and leave and X dies (yes, let me dream).

@nixCraft I run a small wiki. About half the traffic on it ( out of a total of 1.6*10^4 hits in 2 weeks) is from openai scrapers. I am considering fail2banning them.

@nixCraft This has been clear for a long time. The bigger tell is how Twitter discourse diverges from real human sentiment. Most people instinctively oppose killing civilians, especially children — yet the platform is flooded with voices defending exactly that in Gaza. That disconnect screams artificial amplification.

@nixCraft I'm not sure he thinks that he is to blame. 'If not me, then somebody else would have created this' kind of logic. And while that may be true, he is still one of the reasons for the current state of the internet. He can and should be blamed. But I doubt that he has 'realised' anything.
