@nixCraft I dont think they fear any catastrophic natural event like flood, meteor or even AGI taking over. My opinion is that what they fear the most is simply humans 😊 Not because they are ultra rich but because they are "ultra tech bro" 😊 They developped so much faith in their "human are just complex machine" narrative that they lost contact with their own humanity and with that, with their human brothers and sister. For this reason, they dont trust anyone and shield themself from society.

@nixCraft I read a fascinating article in Wired about the billionaires who doom prepping and the business around it a few years ago.
The best way to avoid Doomsday is to participate to the society. Do they seem to want to do that?
