@jakehamilton I don't hate this. I've personally wondered if an alternative frontend to nix would be feasible to lower the barrier to entry. Lisp has some serious advantages, which is why I have to imagine Guix chose guile.
I was originally thinking of something closer to Nix's current syntax. A sort of "TypeScript for Nix" if you will, but I wonder if the flexibility of Lisp would be worth switching the language entirely. You just get so many things for free...
@jakehamilton personally not a fan at all of lisp, but having some form of better typed lang on top of nix sound like a good idea
