@nixCraft be careful what you wish for: last week I had to listen to people complain about how nobody nowadays knows how to code anymore, they jost write something, hope it compiles and then pray it runs without crashing. "back in the good old days you thought twice about the code in your punch cards, because if you made a mistake you had to start over from zero"

There is no such thing as "coding". It's a techbro trick to make one think all a programmer does all day is type code.
@nixCraft trad coding is my pick despite the highly negative connotations of it from other spheres (e.g. "trad wife").
@nixCraft gentle reminder that coding is a broad term that encompasses data entry, vehicle categorization, encryption, etc.
What about "coding-that-works"?
