There are many tutorials on how to turn off Gen AI training on Microsoft products, including LinkedIn. I think even if you turn it off, they will still find a way to steal your data, just like Google tracks you in Incognito mode in Chrome even though they are not supposed to. Your data is still a precious commodity. People use these services or products because they need to for job hunting or because their work forces them to.

Opting in by default should be illegal. The real solution is to create laws that forbid this kind of thing and close every loophole that these tech bros use. Otherwise you will never escape from this madness

@nixCraft Absolutely. The weird thing is, I believe in the *UK*, it is illegal. But companies still do "Tick here if you do NOT want us contacting you" which is definitely wrong!
