@nixCraft I wish you all tje best. I have a dual boot system. As a technical writer I need both sysyems. But I like Linux Xubuntu the best.

@nixCraft I know this is a me problem and that my own circumstances are mine to deal with, but I just can’t get games contemporary with my old laptop to run without serious lag on Linux.

When I dual-boot into Windows 10, they work perfectly.

It’s like the opposite is true for me: Windows saves my old hardware rather than Linux. This is all kinds of wrong.

I end up gaming on Windows and doing everything else on Linux, which is quite annoying.

@nixCraft I very much loooove Linux but the anticheat thing is really what's keeping me back on Windows. If Valve has somehow find a way for the Kernel level anticheat to work, I would make the switch in a heartbeat!
