I am happy to announce that the Cooperative Development Guidelines have now a new home with the Vojkruco collective. [1]

It was always the plan to develop the Guidelines collectively and now that should be reflected under Vojkruco. Any community, collective, organization, project and individual is welcome to join our chat [2] and participate in discussions.

I don't want the Guidelines to be the only answer. We do not need more centralized organizations or centralized definitions to follow.

I hope instead to start a discussion on governance, participatory development, developer burnout, digital commons and push for diversity of development in software.

We need building blocks so that each community can shape a model to their needs, and we need plurality of thought and solutions.

For that we need to have an open discussion and collaboration about new models that can serve the commons better.
