A lot of people in the comment section for Firefox mentioned a new browser currently under development called Ladybird. I checked its repository, and it says: 'Ladybird is in a pre-alpha state and only suitable for use by developers.'

@nixCraft a browser from scratch would be a headache to use. No chromium or firefox base means so many websites would trip up and extensions would need to be ported over or copied. The founder could be saint and I still would't care
@nixCraft do you understand the choice to work with swift? We already have issues with WebKit being so closely tied to Apple. I鈥檇 like to be excited about the project
