@dansup I admire all that you've done (and are doing), but I truly think you should consider setting up, or ask for help to set up, governance for Pixelfed and now Loops. Something similar to Mastodon or Drupal. You can be the lead, evangelist and prime contributor, but the projects perhaps need more boring administration too. And more hands involved. If you look at Drupal @dries owns the trademark and has a big role. But together with an association and a community it could mature.

I've been obsessed with the fediverse since ActivityPub launched in March 2018, I started Pixelfed in April 2018.
I regret losing focus and acting like a jerk for a brief period, but I've learned so much from that and have grown a lot.
I'm so thankful for the community that helped me realize my problems and for sticking by me as I worked on them.
2026 is going to be a huge year for all of us ❤️ 🚀
