The number of people choosing Linux as their primary operating system to play games has been slowly but steadily going up, at least according to the Steam hardware survey. This is most likely because of the Steam Deck release and the increasingly obnoxious features being added to Windows.

@nixCraft This is the dream and one of my only reasons why I don't run Linux on my main PC build because of gaming. Since I do indeed love to play FPS games which always usually require anti-cheat software on the system. The idea of having games specifically targeted towards Linux would be incredible too. I mean. Not sure if it's a solution, but maybe have a special server for just the cheaters to use?
