The #EU @ngi #grant programs and the hard work of @nlnet to distribute @EUCommission Horizon Europe #funding has done wonders to take #fediverse where it stands today. In my article I list all the many #FOSS projects that received stimulus and support during the years.

However something fundamental has been lacking in the mandate on who is eligible. Coding is Social. The support does not cover the rich tapestry of #expertise that end-to-end #solutions need during their lifecycle. Does not include fostering cohesive #technology ecosystems, healthy #OpenStandards evolution.

Effectively this creates a 'handover point' of software code from poor FOSS to others who earn a living with it.

Very appropriate indeed. This is the *core* practice that #SX applies, underpinned by its simple life #philosophy, called innercircles. It's expressed it in its tagline of 'simple solutions still exist'.

Including #solutions to our most wickedest problems.

Assumption is that ALL wisdom, knowledge, common sense, and life experience that we need for a (wicked) solution, already exist. That its laying on the street, while we overlook and trample upon it in our rushed day-to-day of modern #society ratrace.

Hence the first 4 hedonic drivers are: center, think, act, feel. Center means to orient, to know what you want, up to what your dreams are. Then you think before you act, so you will feel what you want to feel, and make progress towards realization of your dreams, large and small.

SX #methodology being so holistic in #nature, and using #EmergentDesign, can incorporate with ease ANY other tool or method that yields positive result and best-practice.

Yes well said! In society we lack ways to deal with wicked problems. The kind where there is no one single solution. It is a given that special interest groups apply their lobbying and propaganda powers to influence public opinion. And that #activism for the good cause and against malign actors lacks ways to spark a large mass of people into coordinated #resistance and onto pathways towards #solutions. The call of the #activist is for #awareness and #participation, but that all too often requires 'sacrifice'. Often harsh moral judgment is given to those who contribute insufficiently in the eyes of the activist. As result the activist does not win people over, and activism may even backfire.

Social experience design, while focused on tech foundations first, is a generic solution development methodology aimed at ability to affect societal impact and solve wicked problems. It defines #CALMculture as a way to organize activism in a commons.
